The micro-apartment is designed for middle-aged architect - who works in Central London. The client plans to set up his own home studio so he requires an office space.
The apartment will be built in an existing office building in London that is being converted into an apartment complex. Available space is small overall and needs to fit within 3600x7200x5000 measurements.
High ceiling which is located at 5000cm, allows me to built a loft space at 2500cm level that adds an extra space to the apartment. Taking into consideration what works best for the client I decited to allocate home office on this extra space. While being separated from the rest of living spaces - kitchen, bathroom and living room, it creates a perfect space for a work environment.
